Comparative Animal Nutrition

Prerequisite: ANSC101 and ANSC103; and (CHEM231 or PLSC275). The fundamental role and implications of dietary preference, gastrointestinal physiology and nutrients in animal nutrition. Biochemical roles of nutrients in metabolism, digestion, absorption and assimilation as it relates to various life processes. Offered fall only.
