ANTH432
Archaeological Interpretation
An analysis and public interpretation of archaeological materials. Using artifacts, notes, and records from excavations in combination with other historical data like census records, students will piece together portions of the historical narrative. Students also engage members of local and descendant communities in the interpretation of the past, exploring multiple ways of sharing archaeological information and connecting historical archaeology with the present.
