Advanced Studies in Theory and Practice of Historical Archaeology

Jointly offered with ANTH440. Credit only granted for: ANTH440 or ANTH6 40. Historical archaeology enhances cultural heritage by providing voice for groups who were often unable to record their own histories, such as women, laborers, working class families, and enslaved people. The course provides insight into issues related to race, gender, and ethnicity as they relate to multicultural histories.
