Special Topics in Bioengineering (M.Eng.); Applications in Biopharmaceutical Engineering
Reviews platforms and processes involved in biopharmaceutical develop- ment. Various current and projected technologies relating to the deve- lopment and production of biopharmaceuticals will be explored. Topics include Upstream/Downstream procedures and processing, cell types and platforms, bioreactors, recombinant protein and gene therapy develop- ment, and personalized medicine. Restriction: For Master of Engineering students only or with permission of department.
