Prerequisite: Must have completed CHEM243; or CHEM247; or (CHEM241 and CHEM242). Formerly: CHEM660. The use of infrared, ultraviolet-visible, proton and carbon-13 nuclear magnetic resonance and mass spectroscopy for structure determination in organic chemistry.
