Special Topics in Science Communication; Science Communication

COMM majors only. This focuses on the theory and practice of science communication to public audiences. This course is mainly designed to help students learn how to communicate better about science with a variety of audiences, including the public, advocacy groups, and the media. For this, we will review who does science communication, how, why, and with what impacts.
