Special Topics in Education Policy and Administration; Connecting Across A Disrupted World: Technology and Virtual Exchange in International Education

In this timely course, students will examine the disruptions caused by COVID-19 to the international education exchange field while deepening their understanding of how technology and virtual exchange practices are serving to build bridges across geographic and cultural spaces. Students will grapple with the limitations of virtual exchange while also recognizing the tools, training, and scholarship that is needed to create engaging accessible global learning opportunities. Asynchronous components will complement the synchronous class times.
