ENAE653
Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis of Continua
Prerequisite: ENAE652; or students who have taken courses with comparable content may contact the department. Finite element formulation of nonlinear and time dependent processes. Introduction to tensors, nonlinear elasticity, plasticity and creep. Application to nonlinear solids including aerospace structures, such as shells undergoing finite rotations.
During the Spring 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters, students could choose to take some of their courses pass-fail mid-semester which skews grade data aggregated across multiple semesters.
Average GPA of 3.61 between 37 students*
