Recommended: ENEE420. Review of sampling and quantization, functional characterization of digital signals and transmission facilities, band-limited signals and systems. Digital modulation/demodulation techniques, error probability, intersymbol interference and its effects, adaptive equalization. Signaling with coded waveforms, fading and satellite channels, multiple access problems and protocols. Introduction to spread-spectrum Communications.
