Prerequisite: ENEE446; or students who have taken courses with comparable content may contact the department. Concepts and techniques for design of computer systems with improved performance. Advanced I/O systems, memory organization, pipeland and parallel processors, bus bandwidth, processor/memory interconnections, cache memory, virtual memory, multiprocessors, performance evaluation.
