Prerequisite: Two English courses in literature; or permission of ARHU-English department. British poetry, drama, fiction, and criticism c.1790 to c.1830, a period of dramatic social change and revolution in literature, philosophy, the arts, industry, and politics. Authors include Austen, Wordsworth, Coleridge, Keats, Byron, Percy, and Mary Shelley.
