Prerequisite: ENES221; or students who have taken courses with comparable content may contact the department; or permission of instructor. Kinematics in plane and space; Dynamics of particle, system of particles, and rigid bodies. Holonomic and non-holonomic constraints. Newton's equations, D'Alembert's principle, Hamilton's principle, and equations of Lagrange. Impact and collisions. Stability of equilibria.
