Climate Change and Health

Critical examination of direct and indirect impacts of climate change on human health. Discuss how climate change affects not only infectious air-, water-, food-, and vector-borne diseases but also noncommunicable diseases such as cardiovascular and respiratory health conditions, food security, malnutrition, mental health, violence, and migration. Explore different biological and socioeconomic vulnerabilities to climate change across populations through the lens of health disparities and climate justice.
