Advanced Problems in Economic Geology

Prerequisite: GEOL453. Restriction: Non-degree-seeking students require the permission of the instructor.A systematic study of particular ore deposit types or areas of mineralization, primarily involving major economically important metals. Geologic setting, mineralogy and form and character of the ore bodies, chemical and physical factors affecting source, transport and deposition of ore forming fluids.
