Topics in American Politics; Interest Group and External Influence in the 2020 Presidential Election
An examination of interest groups and their influence in our political system. Students will study special interest influence (perceived and actual) in the November 2020 election for President of the United States. The course will explore concepts of voter mobilization, information spread, partisan loyalty, fringe groups, and foreign actors.
