Problems in Political Behavior; Campaign Modeling and Data Analysis

Prerequisite: GVPT201. Restriction: Must be in Government & Politics program or Govertment & Politics: International Relations program. This course is designed to provide students with advanced knowledge and experience conducting real-world political campaign analysis. Using the R statistical software, students will develop a fundamental analytical expertise in combing through commonly bloated campaign cross-tabs, prepping and evaluating data from field experiments, managing voter files, building predictive voter models, presenting to clients, and more.
