Special Topics in Hebrew Studies; Tel Aviv and Jerusalem in Television, Film and Popular Culture

Prerquisites: HEBR206, HEBR211, or equivalent background experience. Examinies recent examples in television, film, social media, news, advertising, music and popular culture that demonstrate the ever-changing roles of the cities of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv in the psyche of Israelis, and their representation to the world outside of Israel. Taught in Hebrew with English readings.
