Applied Contextual Leadership; Leadership and the Workplace

This is a theory-to-practice course that provides students with the opportunity to reflect on leadership concepts and lessons from their work experience (paid or volunteer). Students in this course must be currently or recently employed, interning, or volunteering with a company or organization (full-time or part-time) and must have access toa workplace/volunteer site they can visit or interact with virtually on a regular basis. Students will be asked to connect course concepts toactual work experiences, access organization documents to inform discussion, and complete assignments requiring conversations with colleagues and peers.
