Basic Hearing Measurements

Prerequisite: HESP411; or students who have taken courses with comparable content may contact the department. Restriction: Must be in Clinical Audiology: Au.D. or Ph.D. (Doctoral) program; and permission of BSOS-Hearing & Speech Sciences department. Or permission of instructor. Theoretical principles, methodology, and interpretation of routine audiometric tests, including pure tone, speech, and acoustic immittance measures. Modification of procedures for special populations. Equipment calibration and mass hearing screening programs.
