Causal Inference in Health Services Research

Prerequisite: HLSA725 or permission of instructor. An overview of the conceptual and empirical tools used to infer causation in health and health care research. Advantages and limitations of experimental and quasi-experimental designs in health services research are discussed and students gain experience through applied exercises.
