Prerequisite: JOUR262. Recommended: JOUR361 or JOUR368X. NewsBIN focuses on the future of video journalism, from documentary to 360 videos. In the class, students can experiment with cinematic techniques, motion graphics, choose-your-own-adventure style videos and more. The class is heavily influenced by independent documentary filmmaking and video storytelling. Students will be required to contribute to a weekly behind-the-scenes vlog of our class documenting the work we do.
