Special Topics in Journalism; How Sports Journalism Constructs Our World
Junior Standing and writing experience. This course will examine how sports media worked historically and works currently in that social construction. At the end of the semester, students will have developed a critical approach to the absorption of sports news and understand that sports are not simply a diversion from society, but a reflection of it.
