Seminar in Research Problems; Advanced Quantitative Communication Methods for Audience Analyses

This project-based seminar applies advanced statistical tools to analyze data collected from online surveys, experiments, and social network research. Students analyze their own data to answer research questions using advanced software tests for mediation, moderation, and regression analyses, plus structural equation modeling. No-code tools based on machine learning are also explored or content analyses of social network data. A previous statistics course is required but coding knowledge is not.
