Functional Analysis

Prerequisite: MATH631. Introduction to functional analysis and operator theory: normed linear spaces, basic principles of functional analysis, bounded linear operators on Hilbert spaces, spectral theory of selfadjoint operators, applications to differential and integral equations, additional topics as time permits.
