Principles of Toxicology

Prerequisite: MIEH600; or permission of instructor. Recommended: Must have completed some coursework in chemistry and/or biology. Overview of toxicology, including exposure pathways, toxicokinetics, dermal toxicants, carcinogens, and genetic, reproductive, immuno-, nuero-, target organs, complex mixtures, structure-activity analysis, and determinants of hypo- and hyper-susceptibility. Case studies of global national and regional interest.
