Special topics in Law and Society; Law and Theories of Intersubjectivity
Restriction: Permission of MLAW Dept. only. The legacy of law in shaping social alienation, based on "fear of the other" will be explored. Generation upon generation of social movement have come with hope for society to transcend this fear of the other. This course will investigate the transformative potential of law and the challenges that are ingrained in legal structures.
