Essentials of Contemporary Optics

PHYS371 or permission of the instructor. Intermediate undergraduate course on contemporary optics: nature of light, geometric and physical optics, contemporary light sources and properties, contemporary light-matter interaction topics. Restriction: Must be a physics major (19020, 1902E) or a physics minor (#CM11). All other students will need to be placed on a holdfile.
