A Sociological Social Psychological Approach to Holistic Health & Wellness

A sociological and experiential approach to individual and community well-being which will consist of workshops where we practice and critically discuss holistic wellness techniques. Key issues we'll explore are, do these techniques work? What factors provide or limit access and use of these techniques across social statuses and structures? Lastly, we'll consider how we might tailor or expand access and increase usage to holistic wellness techniques across various social groups. Please note that students will be expected to perform holistic wellness exercises as part of the course.
