Sociology of Race, Class, Gender and Sports
This course examines the institution of sport with an emphasis on race, gender, and class. The course will critically analyze assumptions, historical relationships, and contemporary issues in sports. The course will utilize sports as a platform to understand and explore sociological concepts, theories, and research.
