Family Demography

Prerequisite: SOCY201 and SOCY202; or permission of the Sociology department. Family and population dynamics. Fertility issues, such as teenage pregnancy, the timing of parenthood, and family size, as they relate to family behavior, such as marital patterns, child care use, and work and the family. Policy issues that relate to demographic changes in the family.
