Power and Status in Organizations

Restriction: Must be in one of the following programs: Criminology and Criminal Justice (Master's); Criminology and Criminal Justice (Doctoral); Sociology (Master's); Sociology (Doctoral); or permission from BSOS-Sociology department. Examines how organizations establish and promote systems of status and power to affect virtually every aspect of modern social life. Special attention is given to the impact and reach of public safety organizations.
