Intercultural Communication and Negotiation

Focuses on the relationship of language and culture and the negotiation of meaning within different speech communities. Students will learn concepts to describe how language is used in real communicative contexts and apply these to understand and use Spanish appropriately in different professional situations and environments. The course includes a research component. Taught in Spanish.
