Critical Race Theory in Education

This course asks: what is the function of racism, and how do we work toward a more racially just education system, if racism is permanent? Students learn tenets of Critical Race Theory and related frameworks (e.g., BlackCrit, AsianCrit, UndocuCrit, LatCrit, TribalCrit) and engage in counterstorytelling to amplify the experiences of Black, Indigenous, Latine, Asian, and other non-Black people of Color.
