Participatory Action Research
Considers methods the theoretical, epistemological, methodological, and ethical foundations of participatory action research and the ethical and political decisions involved in conducting empirical research with local community members. Students read literature on and exemplars of multiple approaches to participatory action research with various populations. This is a theoretical, rather than an applied, research course.
