General Microbiology

Prerequisite: BSCI170 and BSCI171; or BSCI105. Credit only granted for: BSCI223 or BSCI283. Fundamental concepts in morphology, physiology, genetics, immunology, ecology, and pathogenic microbiology. Applications of microbiology to medicine, the food industry and biotechnology. (Sponsoring Dept.: CBMG) Students must pay a $40.00 laboratory materials fee.
