Animal Communication

Prerequisite: BSCI160 and BSCI161; or BSCI106. And must have completed one semester of physics; and must have completed one semester of organic chemistry. Recommended: A course in animal behavior or biopsychology. Credit only granted for: BSCI401, BSCI 338W or BIOL 708W. Formerly: BSCI338W. Examining the mechanisms by which animal produce and receive signals in each sensory modality; and quantifying the type and amount of information conveyed in signals and how animals attend to such information.
