Introduction to Qualitative Methods in Communication Research

Restriction: Permission of instructor. Methods for field research in communication including interiewing, ethnographic and participant intervention, focus groups, and content analysis. Formulation of significant research questions, systematic collection of field data, formulating substantial claims from the research, organizing and writing research from disciplinary outlets.
