12/05/2025		Dr. Khamis is a really good professor, but she is very old school. Research COMM classes are boring enough, but she structures her class to make sure your undivided attention is completely on her. She bans phones and even laptops in the class, so take that with a grain of salt. We had 3 projects with groups over the course of the semester, and she even dishes out these "pop quizzes" that require you to come to class. If not, you miss 15 points and can't get them back. Overall, she is a good professor, and I did learn a lot over the semester, but unless you know for sure you have to take this class, I would go a different direction. If you can take the long lectures and you know you can go an hour and 15 without using your phone or laptop, go for it.
