Soil Chemistry

Prerequisite: ENST200. Credit only granted for: ENST421 or NRSC421. Formerly: NRSC421. The chemistry and composition of mineral and organic colloids in soils, including ion exchange, oxidation-reduction, acidity, surface charge, and solution chemistry. Lectures and readings pertain to plant nutrition, waste disposal, and groundwater quality.
