Quantitative geophysical approached are introduced for: past and present plate motions, seismology and interior of the Earth, gravity and isostasy, heat and mantle dynamics. Ocean ridges, hydrothermal vents, transform faults, oceanic core complex, ocean trenches and subduction zones, accretionary anderosion wedges, rift and rift margins, convergence and collisons, sedimentary basins.
