Senior Seminar; Individual Liberties and War: From the Revolution to the War on Terror
This course will examine the tension between individual liberties - such as the freedom of the press, the free exchange of ideas, the right to assemble and petition government,the right to a jury trial of ones peers, the right to bear arms, to mention a few - and the expectation that the people are obligated to support their government during a time of war.
