06/11/2025		Soergel was one of my favorite professors during my time at UMD so far. Interesting classes, doable assignments/exams (which are pretty much just responding to a simple question in 1-2 paragraphs). Lenient on grading too.

08/26/2024		Professor Soergel is outstanding. The readings can be a bit long but they’re very interesting. He is very kind and willing to work with students who are struggling with classwork or struggling with keeping up. The exams are also very easy since he provides the practice questions beforehand that follow the exact exam format.

Lectures are interesting and informative. Readings can be a little long but are typically super fascinating. Looking forward to taking another class with him in the spring!
