Selected Topics in History; The English Civil Wars, 1603-1662
This course looks at the causes of the English Civil Wars in the mid-seventeenth century in the context of long-term causes and short-term triggers. It also studies political factionalism during the conduct of the wars. The course also considers short-term and long-term effects of the wars.
