Selected Topics in Journalism; ; Exploring News Archives with Artificial Intelligence
edu) A project-based skills course that teaches students to mine journalism's historical data using artificial intelligence and large language models. Students will learn how to use newsroom archives, listserv emails, and other journalism resources to train custom AI systems that can enhance reporting, preserve institutional knowledge, and create new forms of journalistic inquiry.
