Algebra for Preservice Middle School Teachers
Prerequisite: MATH212. Restriction: Must be in one of the following programs (Elementary Education; Special Education; Middle School Education). Credit only granted for: MATH112, MATH113, or MATH315. Algebraic concepts and techniques developed in the middle grades, with their larger mathematical context. Equations, inequalities and functions (linear, polynomial, exponential, logarithmic), with multiple representations of relationships. Common misconceptions of beginning algebra students.
