Exploration of Iranian visual and performing artists' intent and hope for change and their playful strategies for making a difference while using diverse and unique transgressive stories and styles to address themes of social justice and critical intervention. Aiming at bridging the readings with current events, class-time is used for lecture, open discussion, (virtual)role-playing, and creative responses. Taught in English.
