Selected Topics in Russian Literature; From Poem to Popular Song: Russian through Verse
Prerequisite- RUSS202 The course explores the important tradition of Russian "verse" broadly conceived to include a historical perspective of important poets and poetic traditions and extends to an exploration of the modern manifestations of the use of "verse" in contemporary cultural products that include songs, memes, and various new media. Taught in Russian.
