Prerequisite: SPAN331, SPAN332, SPAN333, SPAN361, SPAN362, or SPAN363; or permission of instructor. A study of texts produced in Latin America under repressive/dictatorial conditions during the second half of the twentieth century, and the latter literary considerations on shifts to alternate options.
