Statistical Literacy for Education Research

Credit only granted for: TLPL788C, EDPS788I or TLPL692. Formerly: TLPL788C. Students will learn about descriptive (measures of central tendencies and dispersion) and inferential (bivariate and OLS regression) statistics with education applications. Throughout the course, students will learn critical basic statistical concepts, and statistics' language and how to interpret results and communicate research findings, both orally and in written form. Students will also explore various statistical techniques and read research articles to better understand statistical procedures and approaches.
