| Jacob Aronson GVPT622 Expecting an A admin 01/29/2026 | He is a very smart man and clearly very knowledgeable but omg this man cannot lecture. He is super monotonous and reads directly off the screen (which btw is not a powerpoint but hundreds of lines of r code). Nobody I know was able to manage to stay engaged for the entire 3 hour lecture as it was truly torture. His method of teaching is to tell you how to do it once and then move on. With something like coding it would be better to find a professor who will encourage you to try it yourself a couple of times and then allow you to put the tools together. 2 stars because he does grade very fairly as long as you can accurately comment and explain each line of code, AND THE TA IS AWESOME. You really have to depend on her to pass this class as she will take the time to walk you through homeworks and exams during lab time. |
